I know this is a tough time of year, so I wanted this week's email to focus on some ways to save you time and make your life easier. If you haven't used Chrome extensions before, they are simply little applications that are installed in your browser to give you quick access to some sort of tool or feature. You can find them in your Chrome toolbar next to the address bar - look for the little puzzle piece icon:
Clicking on that, you will see any extensions you have installed or that have been pushed out to you (like WeVideo, Adobe Acrobat, and ReadAloud.) Each one has a little pin icon next to it that will make the extension's icon visible in the toolbar rather than needing to click on the puzzle piece first. It saves you a click for extensions you use regularly! You'll notice that WeVideo and Adobe Acrobat are already pinned for you (assuming your Chrome account is synced.)
Add to Google Classroom
The first extension I want to share is called Add to Google Classroom, and it does just what it says. When you navigate to any website, you can click the extension and it will open a new tab allowing you to post that website to any class as an assignment, material, announcement, or question.Â

FireShot
FireShot is a screenshot extension that goes beyond the capabilities of the snipping tool built into your computer. With FireShot, you can take a screenshot of an entire website and save it as an image or pdf file. This is great for scenarios where the content you are trying to capture goes beyond the edge of your screen. To use it, simply click the icon and choose "Capture Entire Page" (there are some other options there too, but this is the one I use the most!) Then you can choose to download it as an image or a pdf, copy it to the clipboard, or even print it.

Hopefully these two extensions can help save you some time in your day!
